Our client is one of the world major players in the semi-conductor industry. The Asia market plays a crucial role in our client’s global vision and they are continuously seeking for the best talents to develop and strengthen their Asia Operations.

Responsibilities:

Position: The title will be Supply Chain Business Development Manager/Director and the job location can be in Hong Kong or China. The role:
1. Establish roadmap for Supply Chain offerings in China/Asia with appropriate customer segmentation/geography for all relevant customers in Asia
2. Training local sales in Phase 1 SCM (Supply Chain Management) Discovery
3. Doing Phase 2 discovery
4. Work with business and customers/suppliers (directly) to promote and sell total value chain (technical / fulfillment) to key / potentially key customers / suppliers / IDH so as to have closer alliance and synergy
5. Work with business Financial Controller / Managing Director in justifying financial returns
6. Review contract for supply chain implementation – work very closely with business / legal / SCM Ops
7. New program Introduction to anticipate what each market would need in SCM – e.g., NPI, Break bulk
8. Focal Point for Asia to EMA to share best practices in SCM and customized to suit Asia requirements when appropriate
9. Overall responsibility in Supply Chain business development and Operations

Requirements:

Education: Degree Holder Languages: Excellent communication skill (spoken and written) to all levels of internal and external customers in minimally English and Chinese Experience:
1. In depth knowledge of the supply chain contracts and tools as well as China Contract Manufacturing network.
2. Good sales/marketing skill in promoting Supply Chain Services and getting customers engaged
3. Track Record in dealing with US and Europe Key Principals and to handle the whole process of CM projects transfer to Asia/China Personalities: Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Chinese and English. A process minded person with strong business acumen Abilities to function effectively and enjoys working in a matrixes environment
